Impact Fire Services is in a Joint Venture with Fire Protection Design, LLC.

Position is located on Hudson, New Hampshire.

Fire Protection Design, LLC is an independent fire protection design firm providing design services to sprinkler contractors, general contractors, and building owners throughout the Northeast.

We produce high-quality fire protection design and believe that pinpoint accuracy and close attention

to every detail results in a superior product that saves our clients time and money during the design,

procurement, and installation phases of their sprinkler projects.

FPD is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join their team in Hudson, NH

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES :

Ability to perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy

Ability to design, from the ground up, new fire sprinkler systems

Ability to run hydraulic calculations

Ability to produce accurate stocklists.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Competent working knowledge of NFPA 13

2-4 years of fire sprinkler design experience

Experience with general submittal procedures to AHJ

NICET certification or ability to obtain with 2 years

PREFERRED BACKGROUND :

5 to 7 years of fire sprinkler design experience using computer-based software, using AutoSPRINK (preferred), HydraCAD, or SprinkCAD

Experienced in the design of Fire Pumps, Standpipe systems, and storage occupancies

3D modeling and ability to coordinate system piping with other building trades

NICET Level 2 or 3 in Water-Based Systems Layout

Special Hazards and/or Fire Alarm design a plus

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
