  Salary Range - $35.00 to $45.00 an hour

  Job Summary

  Inspect, service, install and perform maintenance on fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.

  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Provide fire alarm service, inspections and installation calls.

  Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing

  JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.

  Prior fire alarm experience in installations, inspections and servicing codes.

  Excellent communications, and customer service skills.

  Ability and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees.

  Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.

  In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have, but not required:

  Applicable experience either in the fire protection/fire alarm industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity.

  A fire alarm systems background or a background working as a licensed electrician.

  Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
