  Sales Executives are committed to supporting our Service Projects & Agreements business within our Total Fire and Life Safety Sales team. Our Sales team focuses on new business acquisition that provides advanced products and services within large commercial buildings such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. Our Sales Executives are ambassadors of quality Siemens technology, products and services, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customers will help them optimize and facilitate a safe, emergency-ready workplace.

  As a Sales Executive , you will:

  Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region.

  Develop a geographic and vertical market account management plan that focuses on strategic growth.

  Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop “go to market” strategies to drive business to the end-user customer.

  Partner with other sales division teams to plan, target, and acquire new accounts.

  Work jointly with the multiple levels of the customer’s organization to understand and document their business goals and success metrics.

  Perform customer site surveys to support the development of multi-offering estimates and proposals across a broad fire and life safety portfolio.

  Develop value-based proposals, estimates, and presentations.

  Maintain relationships with customers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and future business.

  You will make an impact with these qualifications:

  Basic Qualifications:

  High school diploma, state-recognized GED

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills

  Strong prospecting skills/aptitude focused on new business acquisition

  Experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety or similar commercial building/construction or electrical service industries

  Sales Executive: 0-2 years experience

  Senior Sales Executive: 3+ years experience

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Associate or Bachelor's degree

  Working knowledge of common fire and life safety systems and equipment

  Familiarity with building life safety inspection codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS, etc.)

  5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety or similar commercial building/construction industries

  Account development and strategic sales skills

  Financial expertise to estimate and sell service agreements effectively and independently

  Experience selling service agreements to multiple levels of the customer’s organization

  The pay range for this position is $58,400 - $122,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
