Description:
Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing fire life safety systems, including conventional and addressable solutions.
Use a variety of troubleshooting tools to analyze systems and detect fault conditions.
Ensure maximum system detection and alarm coverage when effecting repairs.
Produce repair reports in accordance with NFPA for customer acceptance and billing information.
Responsible for programming systems via laptop computers.
Responsible for vehicle inventory and repair tools.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Provide support, guidance, and expertise to other technicians.
Customer-focused, skilled in project and people management.
Ability to manage project repair scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality.
Proficient in issue resolution.
Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
Knowledge of fire industry.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Skills:
ATM, CCTV, Analog, DVR, Access Control, DMP.
Honeywell, Notifier, Silent Knight, Siemens, EST, Fire Lite.
Additional Qualifications:
Need someone with great customer service skills who can diffuse frustrated customers who are having issues with their systems. Also, who is a great communicator and can be self sufficient since they will be working very remotely.
