　　What’s a typical day as a Financial Services Clerk? You’ll be:

　　• Utilizing Shaw, Lemans, and AFS mainframe systems for identification of customer cheques and researching account problems.

　　• Posting a variety of monetary and non-monetary transactions to customer accounts by the established deadline.

　　• Balancing and reconciling daily balancing to ensure accuracy and completeness.

　　• Investigating and resolving various account discrepancies such as missing or incorrect posting of customer cheques.

　　• Working on process improvements and assisting with interim and year-end financial statement audits.

　　• Communicating with internal departments and external parties such as banks, lockbox providers, and customers to process exception items.

　　• Providing exceptional customer service and support.

　　This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

　　• Have a Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Business/Accounting preferred.

　　• Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting/financial processing principles.

　　• Have general knowledge of automotive financing operations.

　　• Have good problem-solving skills to handle complex account issues.

　　• Possess proficiency in Excel/Outlook and a good comfort level adapting to new computer systems.

　　• Are organized, have good time-management skills, and able to multi-task.

　　• Have good analytical skills and an eye for detail and accuracy.

　　• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
