Financial Reporting Junior Analyst

Prudential Reporting team within Finance is responsible for capital adequacy calculation as per actual Basel rules. Prudential team ensures the accurate monitoring and reporting of capital ratios to several stakeholders including senior management, business leads and regulators.

As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with counterparty credit and market risk reporting for a large EMEA investment bank including capital requirement calculation and monitoring. This requires a knowledge about a wide range of financial products and close collaboration with Traders.

In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:

Production delivery of daily, monthly quarterly regulatory returns and monitoring reports.

Maintenance and further enhancement of controls reports including reconciliations, adjustments variance analysis.

Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries).

Exploit a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results.

The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:

Good analytical skills.

University/College degree in finance/accounting.

Understanding of Accounting Finance principles, Financial Markets and Regulatory Reporting requirements is an advantage.

Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL is an advantage.
