Job Title:  Financial Manager IJob Description:The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food is seeking a Financial Manager I *to join our Administrative Services Division.*Principal Duties:

　　Develop,track,and forecast the fiscal operations for multiple divisions to ensure integrity,accuracy,and control of data.Analyze,summarize,and review complex data.Federal grant financial management,including forecasting,submitting financial reports,and supporting the division with programmatic grant requirements.Assist with fiscal year end closeout and annual budget preparation.Resolve difficult and unusual accounting problems.Ensure fiscal responsibility with compliance of laws,rules,and policies.The Ideal Candidate:

　　Is self-motivated,highly organized,and detailed oriented.Is able to leverage technology and critical thinking to solve complex accounting issues and improve processes.Has experience with financial and accounting software.Has knowledge of the state s financial and budgetary processes.Has excellent written and verbal communication skills,including business writing.Has experience designing and implementing strong internal controls.Has experience with information systems and data analysis,including strong Excel skills.Has the ability to plan,organize,and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Preference will be given to applicants who:
