Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department (Code 011) of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, WA (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA). Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will formulate budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities. You will review and evaluate budget requests. You will control and report obligations and expenditures. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and applying financial policies and regulation of financial management programs to provide advice and guidance for an organization. For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
