  Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

  The Financial Consultant Manager will work closely with cross-functional partners to analyze, report and present key drivers and trend analysis for various Medicare business drivers, to business partners and management. Position is responsible for leading the process of preparation and interpretation of complex financial analysis for lines of business. Has end to end ownership/management of business processes and works across functions and business departments to drive holistic and consistent solutions.

  How You Will Make an Impact

  Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  Substantial, complex modelling

  Leads projects and focuses on business process improvement initiatives and in some departments will help to create innovative financial system solutions to minimize manual or repetitive functions.

  Consults with and provides management with solutions and recommended actions.

  Provides guidance and training to less experienced team members.

  Conducts and documents complex financial and business-related analyses and research fields, including financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment.

  Provides detailed analysis and reporting for leadership, working closely with company internal and external auditors.

  Works with business partners to identify and implement strategic projects that support company goals.

  Leads M&A and other system integration projects.

  Ensures adherence to capitalization and depreciation policies for supported functions across the enterprise.

  Responsible for enterprise or business unit processes related to business case development, ROI analysis, cost and benefit realization and other support of the company’s investments.

  Other projects and duties as assigned, for greater involvement in the business

  Minimum Requirements:

  Requires a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years budgeting, forecasting, and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  MBA preferred.

  Health Care Industry experience a plus.

  CPA, CMA, FSA and/or CFA preferred.

  Excellent communication and very strong presentation skills

  Excellent interpersonal skills - role will partner closely with many areas and needs to lead the bringing together of various sources of information and data at a level that all areas will understand, strive to continue for all to have a common understanding of the different variables driving the expenses.

  Great attention to detail

  Work independently

  Strong knowledge of internal business processes, data flow, controls and our financial systems preferred.

  For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $94,480 to $170,064
