About Financial Analyst - Equity Incentive Compensation

  Human Resources Compensation & Benefits Finance supports global teams that manage capital, drive growth and efficiencies, maintain financial reporting and proactively manage risk. By providing information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions, teams ensure the company can navigate all types of market conditions while protecting our fortress balance sheet. Human Resources Compensation & Benefits Finance is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, allocations, reporting, and comprehensive analysis of Firmwide Benefits, and Equity Incentive Compensation (Stock & Options). This role provides a unique opportunity to interact with other cross-functional teams such as Executive Compensation, Global Benefits, Corporate Sector and Firmwide Planning & Analysis, lines of business finance teams, Corporate Sector Controllers, Chief Investment Office/Treasury, and Regulatory Capital Management Office.

  As a Financial Analyst within Human Resources Compensation & Benefits Finance, you will analyze financial data as well as prepare reports specific to Equity Incentive Compensation (Stock & Options), while identifying opportunities to streamline and minimize cycle times through process improvement. In addition, you will assist your team and peer groups with special projects to support Firmwide strategic initiatives, take on budgeting and forecasting, allocations, financial analysis and reporting, and other financial review and processes for comp and benefit programs across the firm. The team partners with key stakeholders in Human Resources, Corporate Sector & Firmwide Planning & Analysis, line of business finance teams, Human Resources Controllers, Chief Investment Office/Treasury, Cybersecurity & Technology Controls Risk and others to achieve financial, strategic, and control objectives. You will also learn about the associated impacts on the firm's financials and capital planning.

  Job responsibilities

  Support the firm's Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), Risk Appetite, and Risk-weighted Asset (RWA) stress testing scenarios by providing insight into capital/equity sensitivities

  Prepare for and execute month end analysis and forecasting processes, working closely with Human Resources Controllers, Corporate Sector & Firmwide Planning & Analysis, Human Resources, and lines of business to ensure accurate financial reporting

  Create Firmwide Human Resources-related budget guidance and monthly variance explanations to each line of business.

  Setup for, assist with, and execute the firm's quarterly multi-year stress testing for Human Resources-related programs and benefits

  Perform various projects and ad-hoc analyses for senior Finance and Human Resources executives

  Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  3+ years' experience in financial analysis, reporting, and/or accounting

  Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

  Strong analytical skills to manage large data volumes, understand and produce trends with commentary

  Strong technical skills and advanced skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and financial reporting systems

  Soft skills

  Clear communication skills

  Multi-tasking and prioritization skills

  Strong work ethic with demonstrated autonomy and robust attention to detail

  Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
