Description

We are in search of a meticulous Financial Analyst to join our team in East San Antonio, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating SQL queries, building forecasts, and managing the IT budget. This role will also involve analyzing budget vs actuals, being familiar with CUBE data, and data warehouse concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Code and create SQL queries to extract data for financial analysis.

• Develop and manage budgets

• Conduct a thorough analysis of budget vs actuals to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of CUBE data and data warehouse concepts.

• Generate cash flow statements to monitor financial status and predict future trends.

• Take responsibility for budget management and budget processes.

• Prepare and manage expense reporting to ensure accurate record keeping.

• Display a strong understanding of finance to effectively analyze and interpret financial data.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar position

• Experience with CapEx and understanding of its principles

• Familiarity with an ERP

• Experience in Budget Processes and Budget Management

• Strong understanding of Finance principles and best practices

• SQL skills are required

• Ability to prepare and analyze Cash Flow Statements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently - must be a self-starter
