　　When you join PPGNY as a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for preparing reports and presentations for our programs to use to manage their department budgets. You will work with a team of other accountants and report to the VP of Finance. This position may require work on nights and weekends if projects deadlines require.

　　At this time we are unable to support Visa transfers.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Gather internal financial data to review trends in actual activity vs. budget

　　Stay informed on industry trends

　　Create decision recommendations

　　Assess progress on benchmarks

　　Work as support to the accounting department

　　Meet with department leaders to review revenue and spending

　　Develop and use financial modeling techniques

　　Analyze data implications

　　Other duties as assigned

　　You have:

　　Experience with MIP (Abila) or other non-profit programs

　　Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Econ/Accounting

　　Proficiency in financial modeling

　　Understanding of government funding

　　What makes you stand out:

　　Experience with SAGE or implementations

　　Non-profit compliance knowledge

　　Grant analysis (cash vs accrued)

　　Healthcare experience

　　Experience meeting with departments

　　Proof of immunization or immunity to certain communicable diseases (including influenza during the flu season and Covid-19) and testing for tuberculosis. These certifications are required by the NYC DOHMH Health Code, NYSDOH and OSHA.
