Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our Global Resource Allocation department at Bentley Systems. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Vendor Management and FP&A teams and contribute to the financial health and growth of our dynamic software firm.
Your Day-to-Day:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Collaborate with key stakeholders within the Global Resource Allocation group to gather, analyze, and interpret IT software/hardware and real estate data to generate actionable insights.
P&L ownership of the real estate and IT software and hardware lines
Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, highlighting trends, variances, and performance metrics.
Assist with updating monthly rolling budgets for executive review.
Financial Modeling:
Analyze complex financial data to generate insights that guide strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and investment prioritization.
Build and maintain financial models to assess the potential impact of various scenarios on business performance.
Performance Analysis:
Provide actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.Advisory Role:
Provide financial guidance and insights to senior management, helping them make informed decisions regarding resource allocation, cost management, and growth initiatives.What You Bring to The Team:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into meaningful insights.
Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
