　　Fiber Instrument Sales, Inc., the industry leader for fiber optic component manufacturing, has an immediate opportunity for a Financial Analyst at its Oriskany, NY location. This is full-time position in an excellent working environment, the successful candidate reporting directly to the corporate CFO.

　　IMPORTANT: Wage rate will be commensurate with position, shift worked, experience, education, and required skill level.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Daily sales and production posting, review and analysis.Prepare monthly reports for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.Maintaining the integrity of all cost data.Analyzing purchase price variances and providing explanations.Oversee information related to purchase costs, outside service costs, labor rates, overhead rates.Managing the physical inventory, cycle counts and inventory adjustments.Assisting with the month-end close procedures.Analyzing and reconciling inventory accounts in the general ledger.Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Business degree or AAS in Accounting with minimum of five years of experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must possess a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a team environment.Self-motivated with results driven approach.Education:

　　Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Business.

　　Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
