JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Under the direction of theAssociate Director of Financial Aid, meet with prospective and currentstudents, providing quality customer service regarding the financial aidprocess. Assist students with financial aid through their entirelifecycle from pre-matriculation through graduation and beyond. PrimaryFunctions Counsel and advise students during one-on-one meetings abouttheir financial aid options and loan eligibility. Determine studenteligibility for different loan programs and update student files for anychanges in aid, need, etc. Develop materials for counseling, entranceand exit interviews along with attending these sessions to presentand/or answer questions. Follow and maintain department policies &procedures. Assist with web site development & updates. Work with thirdparties for reporting, lending, aid opportunities and other departmentneeds. Perform needs analysis on student files to determine theireligibility for federal loans or other programs. Calculate refunds forstudents, process R2T4 and conduct leave of absence exit interviews,under the guidance of the Associate Director. Give presentations tointerview candidates; explain the financial aid process andexpectations. Assist in coordination of special activity sessionsdesigned to assist students, including debt management workshops,orientation, financial planning, loan counseling, etc. Attend workshopsand professional financial aid training annually to keep abreast of allfederal financial aid regulations. Represent the division on projects.task forces and committees as needed. Preferred Schedule: Hybrid (95%virtual, 5% on-site).
