About the Program
UKG’s Intern Academy program is dedicated to helping college students jump start their business careers at a top-ranked technology company that cares about its people. Our interns work on enriching projects that have a significant business impact on the future of our company. In addition to your day-to-day work with your team, interns get to experience our award-winning culture through mentorship, learning programs, team-building activities, networking events, and more. About the Finance/Accounting Track
UKG is looking for interns to join our finance and accounting teams for the summer of 2024! As an intern in our finance/accounting track, you will work in various aspects of a global finance organization and gain experience working cross functionally. Our interns are placed into a variety of teams, including financial operations, financial planning and analysis, financial transformation, internal audit, accounting, procurement, tax accounting, or even credits and billing. Responsibilities could include:
Preparing financial and operational reports and manage large volumes of data for analyses
Supporting recurring revenue analyses
Ensuring the accuracy of forecast modeling for a variety of business operations
Supporting the indirect and direct tax team for both domestic and foreign tax issues
Analyzing and preparing journal entries and reconciliations for accruals, prepaids, and other assets
Assisting with monthly allocation, close, and consolidation of financial statements
Reviewing contracts and invoices to determine proper classifications
Optimizing efficiency in existing and newly created processes
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree – preference will be given to rising seniors
Pursuing a major in finance, accounting, business, or another related field
Able to commit to a full-time internship for 12 weeks starting late May through mid-August 2024
Microsoft suite proficiency, with an emphasis on Excel
Strong analytical, business process analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with internal and external partners
Program Dates: May 20th – August 16th
