The Finance Co-Op position is responsible for assisting the Sr. Analyst in aiding internal personnel, external vendors, and cross-division customers to support their use of on-line systems (Oracle, Coupa, SW Invoicing, etc.). Correspondence may be directly related to payment status information and timely problem resolution for invoices associated with indirect purchases in our US, Canadian, and Jamaican operations.CORE RESPONSIBILITYThis position is responsible for providing assistance to our internal, cross-division customers to support their use of on-line systems (AOM, Oracle, etc.) and Finished Goods vendors. Correspondence may be directly related to payment status information and timely problem resolution for invoices associated with purchases in our US, Canada, and Jamaica operations.Responsibilities include invoice discrepancy analysis and evaluation, resolution of debit balance assignments, analysis of invoice payment holds, spreadsheet manipulation, respond to phone inquiries from vendors and internal employees, some invoice data entry and assisting with projects as assigned.Analysts are expected to develop a good business relationship with the vendors and internal customers to minimize unexpected issues or delays in shipment due to non-payment.FORMAL EDUCATION:Required:High School DiplomaCandidates must be working towards an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field from an accredited institutionAbility to at least work one (1) year, part time (approx. 28 hours per week) during school year and over school breaksKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Required:Clear and concise communication in verbal and written formOrganizing, planning and prioritizing workDetail-oriented, flexibleTeam-orientedAbility to work independentlyPreferred:Strong Microsoft Office Suit (Excel, Word) experienceAdapt easily to technological advancements in a fast-paced environmentSherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
