Job Description

Insight global is looking for a Field Technician to oversee a plant in Burlington, VT. Individuals in this role will address field site issues, maintain and operate the plant, and interact with customers across various production plant types. The technician operates with minimal supervision and holds primary responsibility for their designated locations. They will complete operation and maintenance tasks for assigned plants, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving plant issues.

Conducting routine maintenance and calibrations on various process equipment, including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, gas analyzers, and electrical control systems. The Field Service Technician needs to exhibit initiative in resolving issues and will be on call 24/7 to respond as required. This position also entails occasional overnight travel. This role is offering $72,000-$82,000.

Skills and Requirements

2-5 years of experience in a relative background such as:

   Air separation or similar complex process control function

   Instrumentation and control

   General maintenance of industrial equipment

   Compressors and compressor maintenance

   Industrial Mechanical

   Industrial Electrical or Electrician

   Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC)

   Military Engineering fields

   - Machinist Mates, Electrician Mates, Gas Turbine Technicians, Boiler Technicians, Turret Mechanic, etc.

Experience with computers, Microsoft applications, FIX 32, and process control computer systems.

Planning and project management skills.

Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

Comfortable being on call 27/7

High school diploma required.

Military or Navy experience. HVAC experience.
