JOB REQUIREMENTS: About This Opportunity The Field Service Technician IIwill respond to the needs of GFS customers by performing duties relatedto start-up, training, service calls, maintenance and repair of paintbooths and related equipment. Provide quality data to improve productsand processes. In this role, you will provide outstanding customerservice experience by installing, performing training & start-ups,responding to service calls, performing electrical and mechanicalmaintenance, and repairing all makes and models of finishing equipmentfor the auto refinishing industry. This position will also conductcustomer hands-on training along with classroom training. What You WillDo Test, repair, install and make field modifications to mechanical andelectrical equipment including, but not limited to, programming ofVFD\'s and various process controllers Work from blueprints, drawings,schematics, or other specifications to locate, diagnose, and repairmechanical and electrical systems; make field revisions as needed tocreate as-built documents Operate diagnostic testing equipment to gatherdata used to diagnose problems with equipment operation Conduct customerclassroom and hands-on training for operation and maintenance of GFSequipment. Provide support to other technicians as needed Communicateequipment improvement ideas related to controls, electrical, airreplacements systems, and other mechanical equipment to GFS design andengineering departments What You Have to Offer Associates Degree with 4+years of experience in a technical role; years of experience may besubstituted for degree HVAC experience and background, specifically withelectrical and control wiring is preferred Prior experience in the autorefinish industry is a plus, but not required Ability to makemodifications to electrical, mechanical, and air diffusion systems Validdriver\'s license and ability to travel regionally as well as overnighton occasion What We Have to Offer We offer a competitive compensationpackage, generous incentive plan, 401k and profit sharing, health,dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability.Development and career advancement opportunities.
