Further, aField Service Technician is the companys first line in terms of customerservice and must possess excellent communication and customer educationskills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
?Prepares and splices various types of outside plant fiber optic cables.
?Proficient with using fusion splicers and test equipment fortroubleshooting purposes (i.e., OTDR, power meter, and red light trafficidentifier).
?Proficient with the use and installation of 5G radio technologiesutilized in the delivery of fixed wireless broadband services.
?Uses appropriate tools and proper hardware to meet all applicable codesand safety requirements.
?Coordinates and communicates closely with other stakeholders in aprofessional manner.
?May confer with customers to further troubleshoot and determineproblems as well as acceptable resolutions.
?Completes daily work assignments autonomously and with little to nosupervision.
?Completes all installation related forms and reports.
