This person will oversee all field activities related to Maintenance of TCS, ITS & NCS Systems as the overall systems technical expert. Job duties
include but are not limited to: solving more complex problems that are beyond a technicians expertise, reading system schematics, follow specifications to implement and maintain system components; Provide training and over sight of field technicians; Monitor, inspect and support systems operation and staff, ensure system integrity and operation, provide direction to contracted vendors; provide additional support to project personnel including warehouse and office staff. Able to work weekends and nights.
Responsibilities:
Supervise technicians and subcontractors performing Maintenance, modifications, and repairs of toll equipment and related systems
Read Plans and schematics
Supervises the upgrades, modifications or replacement equipment as required
Develops and manages project schedules
Oversees a continuous preventative maintenance program
Does corrective maintenance and repair as needed.
Monitors automatic failure reporting system to ensure timely response and resolution in accordance with contract guidelines
Monitors repairs for timely completion and submits approval documents to appropriate purchasing personnel for payment
Response to and corrects trouble reports
Must be fluent with windows OS and Microsoft office suite.
Tests toll collection systems through physical inspection and electronic test and measurement equipment procedures
Supports Technicians and Performs more complex diagnosis of equipment problems with: lane control servers, scanners, and other toll equipment
Monitors and performs diagnosis of complex problems involving vehicle detection equipment, automatic vehicle ID readers, antennas, RF sources, video cameras, switchers,
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of:
HS Graduate
Strong Technical skills in Troubleshooting Networks and Electronic Circuitryand/or 2 year associates or technical school degree
1 to 3 years of Field Maintenance or supervisory experience is a plus
