  Reference #: JREQ175393Are you passionate about the chance to bring your sales experience to a world class company that is market leading for both content and technology? We're looking for experienced Sales Executives to join our Small Law Field Executive Team.

  As a Field Sales Executive (Small Law) you will be responsible for promoting and selling Westlaw and Practical Law products through outbound telephone calls with new and existing small law firm customers within an assigned territory. Each territory consists of a large base of small/solo (1-10 attorney) firms.This position supports the efforts of the Small Law, Legal Unit organization within Thomson Reuters Legal by growing our Small Law Westlaw Core Footprint and retaining existing customers.

  About the Role

  In this opportunity as a Sales Executive, Field Sales you will:

  Drive Results: Individually manage inbound leads, prospect for new opportunities and consistently apply superior salesmanship using consultative and solution-based salesClosing: Achieve and exceed company and personal sales and telephone activity goals through negotiations and product offering within set parametersSales Process: Participate in pre-sales calls and demonstrate online products using web-based tools (Microsoft Teams, GLANCE, etc.) via telephoneProduct Proposition: Cultivate, maintain, and engage customers on business products in order to promote usage and revenue growth objectivesReporting: Gather and log all call information, sale orders, and profile activity within Salesforce, Thomson Reuters CRM system, correctly and accurately; ensuring proper marketing sources are credited appropriatelyClient and Market Intelligence: Provide territory market and competitive information to Thomson Reuters for internal business decisions and positions.

  About You

  You're a fit for the role of Sales Executive, Field Sales if your background includes:

  Minimum of 2 years successful sales quota attainment experience; College Degree in business, sales or related field strongly preferred

  Experience in prospecting/cold calling environment required

  Strong sales process and negotiating skills

  Strong organizational and time management skills coupled with the ability to embrace change

  Pipeline management skills in the CRM environment required - Salesforce.com experience strongly preferred excellent interpersonal communication skills including negotiation skills surrounding products, solutions and price with customers, and accurate forecasting.

  Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $146,300 - $271,700. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $133,000 - $247,000.  The target total cash compensation range in other locations may vary. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
