The Field Operations Intern will assist in the reconciliation of work orders from the design to the actual work completed in the field along with the movement of assets within the asset management system. The Intern will also play a key role in evaluating and building out a process for Connexus Energy lighting and compatible unit data. The internship is a temporary position requiring full-time hours during the summer of 2024 with the possibility of part-time hours during the 2024-2025 school year. This temporary position is not eligible for benefits or relocation at this time.

　　Key Responsibilities and Results:

　　Assist with the accurate asset management and reconciliation process.

　　Review work orders, working with different departments to resolve issues and discrepancies.

　　Reconcile work orders and costs including design changes, field changes, contractor invoices, aid to construction contributions, sketch revisions and coordinate field checks as needed.

　　Generate required reports by work order to ensure all material costs have been entered accurately for the closing process.

　　Resolve errors with warehouse staff to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy.

　　Maintain accuracy of corporate asset records through multi-system report analysis.

　　Assist in evaluating, documenting, and executing review and cleanup of asset management data.

　　Work with Supervisor of Field Operations and Business Process Specialist to build out execute and review process of Connexus Energy lighting and compatible unit data.

　　Document processes of decisions and steps of the process.

　　Provide backup support to Electric Operations Coordinators.

　　Assist Engineering Services Specialists with the review of pole attachments

　　Required Education, Experience, Skills and Talents:

　　Currently pursuing a 2- or 4-year undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Project Management, Data Analytics or related field

　　Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

　　Strong communication skills

　　Strong analytical and problem solving skills

　　Preferred Education, Experience, Skills and Talents:

　　Knowledge of electric operations and operating practices for an electric distribution utility.

　　Knowledge of CUs/assets, understand accounting terminology and practices.

　　Knowledge of the work management system and mapping system
