Field Engineer

　　Roles and Responsibilities:

　　Performs construction site and plant inspections, rendering approvals in compliance with plans, specifications, codes and other contract compliance documents.

　　Provides day-to-day project administration, including liaison coordination and record keeping on costs and progress. Ensures assigned project is on time, within budget and in compliance with contract documents.

　　Analyzes potential change orders, prepares cost estimates and backup justification for negotiations with contractor.

　　Performs technical reviews of construction submittals.

　　Reviews construction progress payments and vendor invoices for approval.

　　Prepares construction reports and analysis.

　　Assists Construction Management with projects, and conducts moderate to complex projects.

　　Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Engineering, Architecture or related technical fields and three years of applied progressively responsible experience in construction engineering management.

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Strong verbal and written communications required.

　　Waste operations and Emergency Response Standard (HASWOPER) Certification preferred.

　　One year of closely related work experience can be substituted for each year of education required.
