The Dispatcher adheres to and promotes corporate policies and manages the general use of equipment, trucks, delivery personnel and materials. This employee directs all activities that concern delivery, warehouse and facilities.Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for the fast, accurate processing of sales orders, setting up job's information, confirming & appropriate reports which support sales order processingProcessing credit memos on the computerAssist customers with will call ordersSupervises stocking crews, conducts performance reviews and employee orientation, and coordinates driver trainingSchedules and dispatches crews to maximize time efficiency and monitors labor costs on each jobComputes payroll accurately and on timeTrains new stockers on how to perform job safely and correctlyCompletes new hire and training paperwork in a timely mannerEnsures compliance with VCR programResponsible for triple count and job completer programResponsible for front counter, office/dispatch, restroom and yard/warehouse cleanlinessResponsible for ensuring that trucks are cleanPerforms job in a safe mannerBasic Qualifications:High school diploma, requiredCollege degree, preferredMinimum 2 years of related work experienceStrong Microsoft office skillsAbility to quickly and accurately perform basic math skillsAbility to quickly read a road/geographical map and communicate directionsOrganization skills demonstrated in job performanceDemonstrated ability to follow instructions with limited guidanceCore Competencies:Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactiveCommunicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customersPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 80% of the time.Occasionally, move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.Must be able to operate basic office machinery.Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.Required Cognitive Skills:Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks.Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.Must be able to multitask.Must be able to receive and analyze information.Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement and initiative.Benefits & Perks:Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability & Life InsuranceWellness Benefits401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Pur
