What You'll DoThe Field Application Engineer - Relays is responsible for increasing sales and market share through being a competent technical partner to our customers. The Relay FAE will work closely with the Sales Team to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. The FAE will also provide Voice-Of-Customer feedback to the management team. Strong ability to turn a technical customer need into a well-qualified business opportunity.Facilitate the technical exchange between the customer and Standex engineering teamsManages and drives strategic growth initiatives within the relay product lineSet, monitor, report and achieve annual sales goals for assigned strategic growth initiativesIdentify and solve technical concerns for new business opportunities in the fieldUnderstand and promote key technical capabilities of Standex Electronics to drive sales growthOversees the development of strategies to:Develop new customers and productsIdentify new market opportunities for Standex Electronics competenciesDrive R&D efforts by identifying trends of new products and new markets to drive long-term growthLeverage their technical knowledge to be a subject matter expert on their assigned product lineParticipate/give new and existing customer's technical sales presentationsWorks closely with the Director of Product Marketing, or his designee to set annual sales goals.
