　　Description:

　　Seeking an experienced Fiber Splicer Technician, you will be responsible for proper preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable within a telecommunications systems.

　　Responsibilities:

　　• Preforming fiber splicer; Mass fusion, single fusion, and ribbon splicing for 5G cellular projects

　　• Proper preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable within a telecommunications system

　　• Operate technical equipment, including but not limited to computer, OTDR and fusion splicing equipment for single and ribbon fiber

　　• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation

　　• Will be working inside of a splice trailer (HVAC Equipped), pulling splice boxes from various locations in the city, and updating whatever is called for in the plans

　　• Complete daily production reports

　　Work Environment/Schedule:

　　• Monday - Saturday | 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (as busy season picks up you will work 6 days, with Sunday off).

　　• Work sites are west of the Mississippi (MT, IA, WY, North Dakota, South Dakota)

　　• Per Diem: $45/day (Lodging, and gas covered by MP).

　　• Candidates will be paid hourly to commute to initial job site, and commute to next project.

　　• Company vehicle offered to those that pass MVR.

　　• All outside work.

　　• Will not work if it is raining really heavy.
