Baker Tilly, one of the fastest growing CPA advisory firms in thenation, has an incredible career opportunity for a Federal Credits andIncentives (C&I) Senior Manager / Director, Tax to join our growingFederal statutory credits practice. This is a remote position.
Our C&I Statutory Tax Credits practice is made up of professionalsacross the U.S., who work with clients to develop an efficient andcost-effective approach for identifying, calculating and documentingeligible federal credits, mostly under the Inflation Reduction Act, butalso including other credits related to energy efficiency, alternativepower, domestic manufacturing, workplace diversity and economicstimulation by geography. Our team has assisted clients in a variety ofindustries to identify, document and sustain federal credits through acomprehensive understanding of their business operations. This practicedoes not focus on research (R&D) tax credits or state and local creditsand incentives, although you will collaborate with professionals inthese specialty areas.

Be a trusted advisor to middle market clients by providing strategicfederal tax credit consulting services that includes:
Work with other industry experts to document eligibility andqualification of clients for certain federal tax creditsResearch and draft technical memoranda related to federal taxcred t mattersSupport industry experts with tax technical issuesDevelop industry thought leadership including writing internaland external articles and preparing internal and externalpresentationsDevelop an understanding of each client\'s business and become afunctional expert in the relevant technical areaAssist with managing client engagement staffing,billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets aremet
Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strongrelationships internally and externally with colleagues, clients andthe community
Build a team as your practice area grows
Invest in your professional development individually and throughparticipation in firm wide learning and development programs
Support the growth and development of team members through the BakerTilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet theirprofessional goals
Act as a career advisor to associates, seniors and managers
