Need 1 full time, seasonal, temporary Farmworker to work in Hallock, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri.. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Job Description: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery and self propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize the soil, or to plant cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, canola, and corn. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements and mechanical equipment. Inform Farm Managers of crop progress, Load crops and drive trucks to transport to employer's fields, and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities in close proximity to farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery, Attach implements using hand tools. Job Requirements: Three(3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed, Class D license, Post-hire Drug screen, Be able to lift 75lbs., Exposure to extreme temperatures, Extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking and repetitive movements. Employer Assurances: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
