  As part of the Capital Projects, Planning and Facility Management team the Facility Coordinator will be embedded in the Rotoflow - Highland Avenue facility providing day-to-day coordination of activities in support of production and facility preventive maintenance, custodial services, events, safety, procurement, contracted services and environmental waste. As part of the on-site team, the facility coordinator will interact daily with the shop supervisor, technicians, engineering, EHSQ and Procurement. This position reports directly to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.

  Roles and Responsibilities:Manage and maintain facility and maintenance schedules.Maintain accurate, up-to-date list of the activities to be completed (Maintenance/Facility/Safety/SAP) and liaison with the Facilities Manager and Shop Supervisor to prioritize work.Ensure daily transactions are completed in SAP.Procure equipment and services.  Generate requisitions.  Closeout purchase orders.Work closely with Procurement when communicating with or bringing-in contractors or suppliers to ensure compliance with Air Product's contractor requirements.Liaison with the Capital Projects team for site specific capital equipment and construction projects.Maintain site specific contractor list.Maintain site specific capital asset database.Maintain site specific electronic documentation and file management.Lead or participate on teams as needed to investigate problems, determine root causes, brainstorm solutions, and implement corrective actions while gaining input and information from a diverse group of employees to achieve results that are consistent with improving safety, quality, schedules, and reducing costs.Enforces safety policies and conduct monthly safety audits.Provide safety orientation training and issue safe work permits to contractors and visitors.Manage Energy Isolation/Lockout/Tagout (with engineering assistance as needed for energy isolation)Maintain site specific contractor safer work permit documentation in EHSQ database.Conduct routine facility, custodial and grounds audits.Investigate and liaison with Facility Manager and EHSQ and resolve facility related safety issues.Provide a positive, team-oriented, work environment and create a climate in which people are motivated to participate and provide input.Support Administrative Assistant with event management as needed.Required Skills / Abilities:A strong focus on safety and the dedication to the principles of the Air Products BSP.Proficiency in the application of Air Products EHS procedures such as safety work permits, energy isolation, lockout/tagout, electrical safe work practices, fall protection and confined space.Strong organization skills for managing equipment inventory and documentation.Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, verbal/written communication and decision-making skills.Ability and desire to work with diverse groups of employees including engineers, manufacturing staff, designers, technicians, and contractors in a positive, professional manner to achieve the best solutions.Capability to execute simultaneous activities by effectively planning, organizing, and coordinating activities with the master scheduler and manufacturing supervisor to complete projects on time and on budget.Hands-on, intermediate experience with all areas of facilities management (HVAC, electrical (LV /HV), carpentry, plumbing, roofing, security systems, IT, space management, signage, custodial, grounds...)H nds-on, intermediate troubleshooting skills in the areas of instrumentation, electrical and mechanical.Basic to intermediate competency with SAP, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite of applications.Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.  Maintain free and open communication.Proficiency reading construction drawings.Education and Licensing Requirements:Associate degree or equivalent military experience.Minimum 8-years hands-on facilities management and maintenance experience.Minimum 5-years experience in an OEM fabrication environment.Familiarity with SAP ERP Maintenance Modules or similar CMMS applications.We are the world's largest hydrogen producer with over 80 years of industrial gas experience.
