JobPurpose: Our next Facilities Specialist will be responsible forcoordinating tasks related to physical plant operations (including allbuildings and grounds, utilities, energy management and safety/securitysystems) with the appropriate vendors and internal teams, and supportingthe provision of a safe, healthy, comfortable, and welcoming environmentfor clients, staff and visitors. The individual in this position willtrack and monitor maintenance and repair activities, contractedservices, and custodial services ensuring the physical operations ofWellpoint Care Network facilities, which include the Capitol Campus andWest Bend satellite locations, meet safety and maintenance standards incompliance with programmatic, state, and federal regulations andrequirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentrequired; Associate\'s Degree or Bachelor\'s Degree in facilitiesmanagement, engineering, building trades, or related field preferred.Minimum two (2) years prior building maintenance experience requiredincluding proven success in the areas of interior and exterior buildingmaintenance, preventative maintenance processes. Experience servicinginternal customers in a business, or a school is a plus. Projectmanagement experience preferred. HVAC knowledge is recommended includingfamiliarity with hot water heaters and boiler. Understands BusinessOperations and use of building by each division and communicates withbusiness personnel appropriately. Ability to provide a high level ofcustomer service, responding promptly and efficiently to work orderrequests. Ability to learn facilities management work order reportingtools or software. Ability to show initiative and is self-motivated.Ability to contribute constructive ideas, use time effectively andefficiently. Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets,and schedules.
