Job Description:
The Facilities Manager will be directly responsible for managing repairs and maintenance for a portion of our portfolio, starting at 35 locations. They will ensure that those locations consistently represent our brand through the most efficient use of resources. They will be responsible for the coordination and day-to-day planning of repair, renovation, maintenance and ongoing operations of all company facilities and associated equipment, including fitness equipment, and building systems. They will report to the Senior Director of Construction & Facilities.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the condition of our clubs is a cornerstone of our sales success and membership experience by closely representing the Blink brand.
Manage emergency, planned, and preventative facilities work with consistent service levels.
Perform emergency, planned and preventative facilities work at the lowest possible cost.
Ensure we perform our work with the minimum possible member impact.
Perform quarterly, detailed on-site reviews of company facilities to measure condition against brand standard.
Plan, budget, schedule and manage all facilities work.
Oversees club renovations from scoping to budgeting to execution.
Reviews and approves all work requests and associated financial approvals.
Oversees and directs all superintendents, maintenance workers, and other personnel responsible for performing facilities work in Company facilities.
Coordinates work with Operations, Marketing, Entitlements, and other departments as needed.
Maintains detailed records of all planned, on-going, and completed facilities work including costs, schedules and status updates.
Assists in obtaining and tracking certificates, permits, and licenses required to operate individual locations.
Participates in on-going Facilities department development including training, personal development, innovation and team building programs.
Qualifications:
Self-motivated, proactive thinker with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
Strong communication skills with both vendors and internal customers.
Experience in and understanding of trades work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, etc).
Experience with ServiceChannel preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite.
Work effectively as a team member and / or a team leader.
Must be able to respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends as necessary.
Thrives under pressure and short deadlines.
Exhibits willingness and ability to learn, adapt and improve the company.
Able to travel to club locations as required to ensure successful facilities management.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Base Salary (Pay Transparency: $80 - 95,000.00 per year)
