We’re seeking a Direct Hire Facilities Maintenance Tech for a water equipment testing distribution company in Irwindale, CA. Requirements:
· Perform basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction,
and repairs task according to service, quality, and safety.
· Operate procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs
preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
· Use technical knowledge of plant process equipment and
manufacturing equipment to perform job successfully.
· Perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair
procedures of all equipment and efficiently troubleshoot equipment to minimize
downtime and to maximize up time.
· Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to
exceed our customers’ expectations.
· Procure and maintain appropriate spare parts and equipment
inventories.
· Leads proactively but responds quickly to urgent matters.
· Maintains certifications and regulatory documentation.
· Provides defined report information to leadership team.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with
all procedures and regulations
· Troubleshooting skills and emergency repair skills required.
· 3-5 years of Facility/Equipment Maintenance working experience
with HVAC, plumbing and electrical
· High school or GED required
· Experience/knowledge of OSHA and other governmental regulations;
incident and accident prevention a plus
· Forklift experience a plus
· Bilingual in Spanish a plus
· Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, and manuals
to establish facts and draw conclusions.
· 8am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, plus overtime
· Pay rate: $24.00-28.00 an hour
