Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator is a crucial member of our team responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and safety of our facilities and equipment. This role involves conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and addressing facility upkeep. The Facilities Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by performing safety inspections, managing inventory, and collaborating with external contractors for major projects. We expect the successful candidate to bring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively with the team are essential, as is the flexibility to respond to after-hours emergencies. The Facilities Coordinator will contribute to the overall operational efficiency and safety of our facilities through diligent and high-quality maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Facility Repairs and Upkeep
Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests, addressing issues such as lighting, HVAC systems, and plumbing.
Execute minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs to maintain a safe and well-functioning work environment.
Collaborate with external contractors for major repairs and maintenance projects as needed.
Safety Compliance and Inspections
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards or code violations.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to support regulatory compliance.
Inventory Management and Reporting
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Generate reports detailing maintenance activities, expenditures, and upcoming preventive maintenance tasks.
Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding maintenance issues and project updates.
Equipment Maintenance and Repairs
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to determine appropriate repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and implement necessary adjustments or repairs to prevent equipment failures.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Forklift certification
Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Salary Range: Starting at $ 28.00/Hr
