Description We are seeking a Facilities Assistant in Houston, Texas, for a long-term contract employment opportunity. This role involves responding to facility-related requests, coordinating maintenance and repairs, assisting with facilities projects, and maintaining clear communication with various departments and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent customer service by responding to all facility-related requests promptly

• Schedule and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections for building systems, ensuring tasks are tracked to completion

• Assist in the execution of various facilities projects, such as office relocations, renovations, space optimization, and general maintenance improvements

• Liaise with both internal and external departments, vendors, and landlords to guarantee clear communication and smooth project execution

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, which includes the scope of work, budgets, and schedules

• Assist in procuring vendors and services as required, ensuring all tasks align with the set budget and timeline. Requirements • Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is required.

• Familiarity with Concur expense management software.

• Experience with IBM AS/400 computing environment.

• Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System is necessary.

• Proficiency in About Time project management software.

• Understanding of budget processes in facilities management.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with managing conference rooms, including scheduling and setup.
