　　Full Time- Day Shift

　　GENERAL SUMMARY:

　　Responsible for fabricating activities under the direction of the Fabrication Foreman, including but not limited to welding, shearing,

　　bending, burning, and machine maintenance.

　　ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

　　Performs fabricating activities as required to meet production schedules.Perform duties and activities in a safe and efficient manner.Communicates departmental information to Fabrication Foreman on a daily basis or as needed.Responsible for maintaining equipment, including routine and preventative maintenance.Operation of overhead cranes and forklifts.Responsible for keeping a neat and organized work area.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

　　Welding and fabrication skills

　　Ability to read, interpret, and fabricate according to blueprints

　　Communication (including both written and verbal)

　　Willingness to follow both instructions and direction

　　Show proficiency in basic mathematics and have ability to read measuring equipment (tape measure, square, etc.)

　　Ability to perform all essential functions of this job

　　EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * *Welding degree preferred, but not required.  Experience in stick, fluxcore, short arc, carbon arc gouging, and tig welding along with soldering is highly preferred.

　　PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, climbing as required to effectively perform the job.
