Operate all basic equipment that ispart of the Fabrication department. Perform all basic preventativemaintenance on associated equipment. Forklift and /or aisle stacker useto transport/relocate inventory or product. Demonstrated understandingof all established Standard Operating Procedures. Utilize and maintainestablished inventory replenishment systems such as kan-ban, VMI, orCMI. Communicate and coordinate part shortages with Team Leaders,Production Supervisors, or Purchasing Department. Assist Supervisorand/or Team Leader in maintaining inventory accuracy and maintaining 5-Sprogram. Follow all safety and PPE requirements per established companypolicies. Maintain a neat and clean work area. Focus on continuousimprovements within the Company. A demonstrated command of all requiredresponsibilities. Perform welding tasks (steel, stainless steel,aluminum) upon completion of welding test. Create and implement improvedoperational processes to reduce cost, improve quality, and increasethrough-put using strong problem-solving skills. Train new employees bydeveloping and utilizing sound interpersonal skills. Assist Team Leadsor Supervisor in organizing, planning, and communicatingproduction-related tasks among fellow employees. Lead by example. Assistthe engineering team in both product development and improvementprojects by developing and applying an acquired technical skill set.***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma orequivalent is required. Applicable technical training or experience ispreferred for advanced assignments. Successful completion of basic oradvanced welding classes is preferred (if applicable). Blueprint readingskills are required. Must possess the ability to apply basic mathskills, specifically with fractions and decimals. Must possess strongmechanical aptitude. Minimum of 2 years of continuous welding workexperience is preferred.
