  Job Summary:

  The F135 Global Capacity Forecasting and Strategy Senior Manager is an exciting position responsible for the framework that supports MROU execution critical to maintain the flying fleet. This leadership position supports a growing global network of Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) depots and repair facilities critical to sustainment of the F135 fleet. This position has 4 major objectives:

  Forecast network MRO&U capacity and demand. Ensure depot activation/expansion plans meet capacity needs. Align MRO&U network requirements with supplier capability. Collaborate and communicate F135 Depot Capacity Strategic Plan amongst stakeholders via semi-annual Global Capacity Working Group meetings.

  This position requires a “focus on results” mindset and the ability to collaborate across and integrate multiple functional organizations and strategic partners.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Develop near and long-term global capacity plans to support all F135 MRO&U Depot and Contracted Field support.

  Assess and manage Depot Capacity levels commensurate with FLOSIM forecasted demand levels and ensure Depot activation and expansion action plans align with production capacity needs.

  Lead the Global Capacity Working Group and related forums that align Senior Joint Program Office (JPO) leadership and F135 Product Support Providers

  Directly support JPO contract & proposal efforts to secure Annualized and Non-Annualized funding of maintenance activities.

  Forecast and develop the long-term strategic allocation plan for all F135 maintenance sourced work to the global depot network. This includes Depot activation and budget requirements for OMM/FYDEP planning and ensure network compliance with Title 10 Congressional requirements.

  Develop program policies and procedures to capture base strategic planning assumptions and roles/responsibilities, including development of digital solutions to drive efficiency across the depot network.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree with 7 years of forecasting, data analytics, project and/or operations management experience required.

  A minimum of 10+ years of forecasting, data analytics, project and/or operations management experience required.

  The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Key understanding of engines, airline operations and engine maintenance operations

  Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

  Ability to effectively team across organizations to accomplish goals

  Strong judgment, influencing, negotiating and leadership skills

  Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

  Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

  The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
