  Position Overview:

  We are looking for a P&W Military Engines F119 Field Services Manager for our facility in East Hartford, Connecticut.

  Key Job Responsibilities:

  Lead four remote site P&W teams of salary and hourly personnel providing F119 Engine technical, maintenance, and logistics services under the F119 SPaRE 2 contract supporting F22 aircraft operations at Elmendorf AFB, AK; Hickam AFB, HI; Langley AFB, VA; and Nellis AFB, NV.

  Serve as single Program Management Office point of contact for field operations and ensure all objectives of the F119 Contractor Support Plan are met.

  Ensure resources are appropriately allocated across sites to resolve F119 technical and logistical issues in a timely manner, while maintaining serviceable spare engines above war readiness levels.

  Establish and maintain close working relationship with P&W supporting functional teams to include engineering, quality, customer support engineering, finance, earned value management, ethics and compliance, and human resources client managers.

  Use CORE operating system in managing operations and driving continuous improvement.

  Ensure compliance with program, company, and Government agency policies and procedures to include employee health and safety, quality/quality cardinal rules, and ethics standards and/or requirements.

  Support continuing maturation and improvement of the F119 support systems such as Advance Engine Failure Resolution (AEFR), Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS), and Technical Order Data (TOD).

  Manage program costs using earned value management system (EVMS) tools and methods.

  Work independently, prioritize tasks, and plan effectively.

  Travel occasionally supporting site visits and meetings/reviews with P&W internal and/or external customers.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field with 12+ years’ experience, or, advanced degree with 10+ years’ experience.

  10+ years’ experience with commercial or military engine, its support systems, and use of Technical Order Data (TOD), or equivalent experience on other weapon system.

  10+ years of supervisory experience.

  The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience with F-22/F119 or military engines preferred.

  Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

  Proficiency in MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.

  Familiarity with USAF military operations and maintenance practices, AFI 21-101, Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS), Comprehensive Engine Management & Integrated Maintenance Data Systems (CEMS/ IMDS), and EVMS are a plus.

  This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.

  The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
