The intended candidate will register and screen prospective blood donors and process blood donors at the Hoxworth Blood Center Neighborhood Donor Centers and Mobile Operations. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities.We have current part-time (60-75% FTE, 24-30 hours per week) openings in the following Neighborhood Donor Center locations:Blue Ash, OH, Anderson, OH, North (West Chester, OH), West (Bridgetown North, OH), Ft. Ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition.Determine suitability of prospective donors based upon evaluation of health history and physical findings. Document records concurrently, ensure all records are complete, legible, and accurate. Accurately label collection bags, component collections containers, and records with unique identifying number for each donor.Select vein, prepare venipuncture site, and perform phlebotomy for whole blood component collections.
