The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Fabrication Estimator in Salt Lake City, UT .
This is an exciting opportunity to join Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) to develop estimates and pricing, evaluate requests for proposals, and develop business case estimates in support of key investment decisions. A successful candidate is self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic environment to use data-driven analysis to present and make recommendations to Boeing leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of the program
Participate in evaluation of requests for proposal, substantiates routine estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
Perform analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
Incorporate data into and maintains structured systems
Develop routine estimating and pricing methods and models
Assist with compliance, policy and procedure development, and development/deployment of systems and tools
Develop business case estimates in support of key investment decisions
Support to airplane campaign and delivery activities
Increase value capture by leading process, tool and data driven improvement
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of an Associate’s degree or years related work experience, equivalent combination
Experience developing business case analysis
3+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
Prior composite, sheet metal, machine estimating experience
Experience estimating strategic studies, work transfer proposals, affordability estimates
Experience with statistical data
Estimating Tools- ARCO, @Risk, Simple Data Mining
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $84,150 - $113,850
