Description We are in search of an Expeditor to join our organization, located in Pico Rivera, California. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking order statuses, communicating with various departments, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in an industry that demands precision and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and monitor 'hot' orders on a daily basis, ensuring timely updates are communicated to the relevant teams such as Production, Shipping, and Management.
• Oversee the receipt of raw materials from vendors, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
• Proactively request updates on late orders from vendors and take necessary actions.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers on order expediting matters, promptly responding to their emails and calls.
• Arrange delivery appointments with customers for completed orders.
• Conduct rounds based on workload and receivers received.
• Carry out backend tasks such as creating production tickets with box specifications, generating load tags, and making additional copies for production.
• Generate sales orders and delivery tickets, which includes adjusting or creating parts, entering sales orders into the system, and printing sales order/delivery tickets.
• Utilize skills such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, CRM, Crystal Reports, Data Processing, About Time, Answering Inbound Calls, Buying Processes, Cash Activity, Cash Handling, Enter Vendor Invoices, and Manage Vendor Relationships. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with Concur software
• Demonstrated skills in CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports
• Strong data processing capabilities
• Proficient in using About Time software
• Ability to handle answering inbound calls effectively
• Understanding of buying processes
• Experience in managing cash activity
• Proven skills in cash handling
• Ability to enter vendor invoices accurately
