About Executive Director, Strategic Alliances & CMC Program Management

  The Executive Director, Strategic Alliances & CMC Program Management is responsible for providing strategic management of the company’s commercial and/or clinical development program teams.

  As an Executive Director, a typical day might include the following:

  Facilitates achievement of strategic departmental milestones and supports through active and consistent leadership and department operational objectives as assigned.

  Monitors and provides strategic guidance to assigned team members for key program deliverables against global development plan milestones, including the identification of potential risks and contingency plans.

  Acts as a strategic resource for direct reports on matters related to CMC Program Management.

  Demonstrates the ability to accurately plan for team resources, and to accurately identify suitable leaders (with demonstrated competencies defined within IOPS Leylines) to mentor within the department (succession planning)

  Demonstrates ability to gain cooperation of others and effectively facilitates the resolution of cross-functional issues.

  Acts as a lead liaison in the interactions between Regeneron and our key corporate partners on joint governance committees as assigned.

  Responsible for facilitating and driving decision making in support of the joint strategic objectives of the program, always representing Regeneron’s interests.

  Ensures effective, accurate and timely communication across functional areas within Regeneron; communication responsibilities include but not limited to use of Program Health and Portfolio Dashboards.

  Works with assigned team leaders to identify and resolve any team and individual performance issues.

  Regularly interacts with Senior Management or executive levels on cross functional matters.

  Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations and influences the overall objectives and long-range milestones of the CMC Project/program.

  Serves as a primary point of contact for management within and outside the IOPS team for all CMC Program Prioritization requests.

  Leads special projects as assigned by IOPS Senior Management.

  Adept at managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, switching between tasks quickly, and juggling competing priorities and projects.

  In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a bachelors degree and 18+ years industry experience, including experience successfully managing a team in the drug development industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP certification, MS/PhD or MBA a plus.

  The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

  Salary Range (annually)

  $231,400.00 - $385,700.00
