  Position Summary

  The Executive Director of Cloud Infrastructure will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Server and Storage strategy for our cloud services. This executive will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of the server and storage hardware infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and engineering with a proven track record of leading successful teams.

  You’ll make an impact by:

  Developing and executing a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

  Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient server and storage solutions.

  Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers and specialists.

  Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the cloud infrastructure team.

  Driving the design and implementation of cloud server and storage hardware, ensuring it meets industry standards and best practices.

  Evaluating and selecting hardware components, vendors, and technologies to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.

  Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with hardware/software vendors, review roadmaps, providing feedback and ensuring timely delivery of equipment

  Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in cloud infrastructure.

  Collaborating with the security team to ensure cloud infrastructure complies with industry security standards and regulatory requirements.

  Implementing and enforcing security best practices across the on-prem cloud environment.

  Required Qualifications

  Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role overseeing cloud server and storage hardware infrastructure.

  Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and networking.

  In-depth knowledge of server hardware, storage solutions, and data center technologies.

  Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

  Preferred Qualifications

  -Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $175,100.00 - $334,800.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
