Summary You will serve as a Event Support Assistant/Passport Agent (OA) in the Events and Protocol Department of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE. Responsibilities You will arrange a site location for an event. You will use an electronic travel system, such as Defense Travel System (DTS), to create travel documents. You will answer administrative related questions to assist staff. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing event materials (e.g., agendas, web sites, brochures, programs, name tags, place cards printing and assembling background material, etc. ) in support of the execution of event; 2) Assisting with coordinating events and providing logistics support; and 3) Using an automated travel system to prepare invitational travel orders and vouchers.
