　　The ancestors of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation existed many centuries ago as a community of people…a Tribe living together, farming, hunting and fishing to survive.

　　Much has changed since that time. Today the Sycuan Tribe governs its Reservation, owns and operates a Casino and a Golf Resort, and owns a number of other business ventures in the San Diego Region.

　　Job Purpose:

　　The primary responsibilities include providing exceptional guest service while supporting Theater events, promotional giveaways, community outreach and co-op sponsorships, including security services to Sycuan guests and personnel.

　　Job Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Ushering venue guests to assigned seats.

　　Provide friendly guest service while promoting entertainment options and assisting guests

　　Maintains a thorough understanding of show schedule, production details, and ticketing prices.

　　Assists with night of show ticket redemptions.

　　Assists with venue logistics before and after events.

　　Maintain a professional and pleasant department image by consistently communicating and presenting information in a professional manner to internal and external guests.

　　Ascertain and resolve guest concerns, requests, and/or complaints in a timely, courteous and informed manner.

　　Provide friendly guest service while promoting Sycuan Casino Resort at off property sponsored events.

　　Identify underage guests, undesirable guests, requesting they vacate the venue, and physically subduing disruptive guests if necessary, according to established procedures,

　　Communicate effectively via radio to Event Security, Casino Dispatch, and Casino Security.

　　Escorting VIP’s back of house to and from the venue(s).

　　Essential:

　　Hospitality Experience

　　Guest Service Experience

　　Desirable:

　　Casino experience

　　POST certification/or Military LE experience

　　CPR certification

　　Skills and Knowledge:

　　Essential:

　　Ability to remain energetic, outgoing, and get along with a variety of personalities

　　Ability to effectively communicate, maintain professional and positive composure with guests and team members

　　Ability to effectively communicate in the English Language

　　Ability to abide by polished and professional grooming standards

　　Ability to communicate effectively in the English language

　　Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time

　　Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

　　Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments

　　Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
