The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Job Responsibilities:
● Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of EV charging systems, including chargers, switchboards, and other related infrastructure.
● Hold charger partnership meetings with vendors to review SLAs, uptime reports, parts and materials, and hold them to preventative maintenance schedules.
● Manage the interface with utilities, coordinating energy supply requirements, and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
● Oversee the development of electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts related to charging infrastructure, promoting seamless integration with mechanical and software systems.
● Conduct design reviews and create comprehensive documentation to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
● Collaborate with other engineering teams, suppliers, and utility companies to ensure successful integration of components.
● Develop and manage project schedules, identify potential risks, and effectively communicate them to all stakeholders.
● Mentor a team of onsite engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.
● Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, standards, and technologies to keep our charging systems at the forefront of the EV industry. Document and report out to stakeholders on cutting edge technologies.
● Coordinate with ABM eMobility team on potential new EV sites, existing project deliveries/timelines, on-going maintenance service calls of EVSE equipment.
● Manage on site stock of EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) replacement parts to support onsite EV charging stations.
● Manage and track EV dashboards for performance and failure analysis coordinating with ABM eMobility team and multiple vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Extensive experience in the design and implementation of EV charging systems and infrastructure, including knowledge of utility regulations and standards.
● Proven record of successful project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.
● Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, practices, and applicable regulations and standards (IEEE, NEC, etc).
● Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and lead a team.
● Proficient with CAD tools and electrical engineering design software.
● Demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a creative and innovative approach to design and implementation.
● Familiarity with NREL, CEC, and other EV planning tools is a plus.
● Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms.
● Knowledge of charger management, energy management and/or battery microgrid management softwares/data portals.
Education, Experience, & Certification Requirements:
● PE License preferred, not required
● Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
● Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical systems design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
