Description:

　　Projects: Transportation projects, such as roadways, bridges, airports, large commercial developments, power generation, and transmission, such as wind farms and solar farms, healthcare, K-12 schools, and higher education facilities.

　　Draft, track and maintain project change orders.

　　Complete proposals and fee estimates for standard or routine civil construction projects.

　　Perform project registration and invoicing tasks

　　Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating prices

　　Responsible for developing accurate and complete job estimates.

　　Estimator must know how to read blueprints and civil/ structural project schematics

　　Experience with proposals, Bluebeam, or any takeoff/bidding software

　　Skills:

　　blueprint reading, Proposals, bidding, Project management, Commercial construction, Pricing, construction estimating, blueprint

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field

　　Strong understanding of civil construction and estimating

　　2-3 years of experience as an estimator (knowledge and experience is what matters)

　　Experience with Bluebeam or any takeoff/bidding software Civil and Construction Blueprints
