　　Tellepsen is looking for an Estimator.

　　Job Summary

　　This position will work closely with professionals in other areas of the construction process, including clients, architects, and vendors to craft a detailed proposal outlining the costs of a specific construction project.

　　Duties and Responsibilities

　　Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

　　Create complete cost estimates by utilizing market input unit costs and quantity takeoff of the scope of work.

　　Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, etc.

　　Support other department personnel as required may include preparing estimates in other disciplines.

　　May review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

　　2-5 years in estimating, controls and/or engineering experience.

　　Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control.
