NextGen ERP is a large, sophisticated multi-year program crafted to transform the way the electric utility operates. The ERP Modernization – SAP Cloud Architect, Senior Advisor will help drive digital transformation by collaborating with various IT teams, system integrators, and business teams to design and develop the Business Technology Platform (BTP) strategy. You will ensure that the BTP implementation of the strategy aligns with business requirements. You will provide oversight and support in designing and reviewing end to end process flows. As the SAP Cloud Architect, you will also be familiar with other SAP cloud offerings such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and data warehouse such as Datasphere.

Lead the SAP BTP strategy, design, and implementation for NextGen ERP program
Collaborate with business teams, IT, and system integrators to deliver end to end business process flows
Apply deep technical expertise in SAP BTP services, Business Application Studio (BAS), and Fiori development to ensure that designs meet functional and technical requirements
Design and support cloud integration scenarios using BTP Integration Suite tool
Identify opportunities to move business processes to the cloud to improve agility
Maintain documentation of the implemented design and associated technical solution
Support the testing and deployment during go live in various phases of the program
Qualifications
The essentials
Ten (10) or more years of SAP ECC full implementation or upgrade experience.
Three (3) or more years of ECC to S/4 HANA cloud or hybrid migration experience.
Three (3) years of SAP BTP services or full-stack Fiori development experience.
Experience and advanced knowledge in supporting SAC, BW4HANA, or Datasphere.
Experience and solid understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP hyperscalers and their services.
Experience in collaboration with multiple project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
The preferred
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical major.
Five (5) or more years of experience with S/4 HANA cloud along with BTP services.
Three (3) or more years of SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI).
Ten (10) or more years of collaborating with business customers, solution architects, system integrators, and development teams to understand user cases, and translating them into robust cloud solutions.
Excellent project management, communication, and organization skills.
Experience and advanced knowledge of cloud integration patterns.
SAP certificate(s) in SAP Cloud (ABAP, Integration Suite, SAC, or CAP).
You should know
This position’s work mode is *hybrid. * The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
